Anchor Community Church and Above Bar East Church are working together to run Little Lambs.
Little Lambs is a group for parents and carers and their under 5s (babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers). We are a warm and welcoming community where the under 5s can enjoy craft and play, whilst the parents and carers can chat over a hot drink and piece of cake. Each session ends with a time together which includes a short Bible-based ‘Thought for the day’ for adults, a snack for the children, a Bible story and singing for the under 5s.
Little Lambs takes place every Thursday 10am - 11.15am (term time only)

Coffee morning is the perfect time to come and connect with others during the week. Grab a coffee or teach (herbal teas and oat milk also available) choose some cake and sit and chat with people. It’s a great warm space to come and make friends with others in the locality.
Well behaved dogs are welcome and will even have a small treat.
10am til 12pm every Friday through the year.
We run an Alpha course each year. Alpha is a time spent together with light refreshments whilst getting to know people in a group. It’s a place where you can ask questions to help you explore the Christian faith in more detail and come to more understanding of who Jesus is and why He died for us.
Email us if you are interested in doing this course in 2026

This Tuesday 2nd December the Youth will be having a baking evening. Youth can come with an adult and sign up at the door.
Youth club will run through 2026 fortnightly on Tuesdays during term time. However, parents need to sign up to receive the actual dates it is running. All youth aged 8 to 18 are welcome to come.
Each session consists of playing with tables such as snooker, football and shuffle. We have a range of board games and also have crafts and painting activities.
Occasionally we may organise a group trip or specific themed evenings such as for fireworks or baking.
Anchor Explorers is for youth aged 8-18 to explore their Christian faith and to learn how to find their way around using a Bible. This is done through games, quizzes, videos and discussion. We enjoy light refreshments as part of our evening.
